Turkey baked in spicy sauce with cheese is a refined dish of European cuisine that combines the tenderness of the bird with a rich creamy flavor. Historically, such dishes emerged from the desire to make lean meat more juicy and aromatic. Here, turkey soaked in a spicy sauce made from cream, mustard, and cottage cheese acquires a delightful texture. Italian herbs and grated Parmesan add subtle notes of Mediterranean cuisine. Baking in foil preserves the juiciness of the meat, while the final stage of open baking gives it an appetizing golden crust. This dish is perfect for a festive dinner or a cozy family lunch and can be complemented with light vegetable side dishes or fresh salads.
