This recipe for cabbage with minced meat is basic, on its basis you can prepare many different dishes - from a pie to a hearty solyanka, supplemented with some other ingredients. Traditionally, cabbage and meat put together are also seasoned with classic tomato paste - this way the dish acquires a bright character and a pleasant sweet and sour note, which is beneficial to the naturally bland cabbage.
