Baked potato is a traditional dish of Russian cuisine that embodies the simplicity and rich flavor of a rustic meal. Oven-baked potatoes, cut into thin slices but kept whole, reveal their softness inside and crispy golden crust outside. Butter adds richness to the dish, while the cheesy crust provides an appetizing stretch and a slight salty hint. Black pepper highlights the depth of flavor, and salt makes it harmonious. This dish is perfect as a side for meat or fish and can also be enjoyed on its own. Its simplicity in preparation makes it indispensable for cozy family dinners, bringing everyone together at the table and creating an atmosphere of warmth and comfort.
