Chicken drumsticks in the oven
3 servings
60 minutes
A win-win recipe for those who want something quick, simple and tasty: in half an hour you get a cheerful red-colored baked chicken that will warm you up in any cold weather thanks to the abundance of spices. The most amazing thing is that before putting it in the oven, you don't even need to fry the chicken legs, just rub them with a mixture of paprika, garlic, pepper and lemon zest. From this friendly chorus of aromas, even the most ordinary broiler gets a gastronomic accent.

1
Pat the chicken legs dry with a paper towel.
- Chicken drumstick: 6 pieces

2
In a large bowl, mix all the spices with olive oil.
- Olive oil: 30 ml
- Paprika: 1 teaspoon
- Ground dried garlic: 0.5 teaspoon
- Lemon zest: to taste
- Ground black pepper: to taste
- Salt: 0.5 teaspoon

3
Add chicken drumsticks to the spice mixture. Mix them well by hand to coat the meat evenly with the spice blend.
- Chicken drumstick: 6 pieces

4
Place the shins on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, spaced apart.

5
Send the chicken shins to an oven preheated to 200 degrees for 25-30 minutes. To check readiness, pierce the meat with a knife at the thickest part; clear juice should flow out. However, it's better to use a thermometer to ensure the internal temperature of the meat has reached 75 degrees.
