Dumplings with kefir and green onions are a tender and juicy dish of Russian cuisine, featuring a mild flavor and slight acidity due to the kefir in the dough. Their history traces back to traditional family gatherings where each hostess aimed to create her unique recipe. Green onions add freshness and spiciness to the filling, while the combination with chicken mince makes the dumplings light and appetizing. They are best served hot with sour cream, fresh herbs, vinegar, or pepper to highlight their delicate taste. This is an excellent dish for cozy home evenings or festive treats when you crave something simple yet rich and delicious.
