Cranberry vodka is a fragrant and rich drink that embodies the traditions of Russian cuisine. Cranberries, known for their sweet and sour notes, give the infusion freshness and a slight tartness, while orange peel adds subtle citrus hints. Historically, cranberry infusions were used in Russia as warming winter drinks and as a means to uplift mood and strengthen health. After infusion, the vodka takes on a deep ruby hue and a rich berry flavor. It is served chilled in small glasses alongside game dishes, meat appetizers or desserts. This drink not only decorates the festive table but also becomes the centerpiece of cozy home gatherings, revealing its layered flavor nuances with each sip.
