1
Pour gelatin into half a glass of water and let it swell for 15 minutes.
- Gelatin: 25 g
- Water: 1 glass
2
We prepare the syrup by mixing 1.5 cups of sugar, corn syrup, salt, and half a cup of water in a small saucepan. Boil over medium heat until the sugar dissolves. Increase the heat and boil until the syrup reaches 240 degrees on a candy thermometer (about 8 minutes by eye). Remove from heat.
- Sugar: 1.6 glass
- Corn syrup: 1 glass
- Salt: 0.3 teaspoon
- Water: 1 glass
3
Slowly pour the sugar syrup into the dissolved gelatin in a thin stream, mixing with a mixer on low speed. Gradually increase the speed, beating the mixture to a thick mass. This will take 15 minutes. Add vanilla and beat for another half minute.
- Gelatin: 25 g
- Vanilla extract: 1 tablespoon
4
Generously sprinkle the baking dish (can be covered with foil) with powdered sugar and place the prepared mixture in it. Smooth the top and sprinkle with powdered sugar. Leave it overnight at room temperature.
- Confectioner's sugar: 40 g
5
When the mixture sets into a sticky mass, we turn the mold onto a powdered board and cut out shaped or simple square marshmallows. We generously dust them with powder.
- Confectioner's sugar: 40 g
6
Now we prepare cocoa (the proportions are given for one glass of drink). Bring the milk to a boil, add cocoa powder, sugar, vanilla, and brew.
- Milk: 0.8 glass
- Cocoa powder: 1.1 teaspoon
- Sugar: 1.6 glass
- Vanilla sugar: 0.3 teaspoon
7
Place several pieces of dark chocolate at the bottom of the cup and pour cocoa over it. Decorate with whipped cream and marshmallow.
