Lemonade with mint and sparkling water

Mint lemonade with sparkling water is a refreshing drink that originated in France. This lemonade combines the tart freshness of lemon, the sweet softness of sugar syrup, and the light spiciness of mint. It's perfect for summer days and can be served as a standalone refreshment or as a base for cocktails.

Remove the zest from two lemons, ensuring no white part remains, and cut it into thin strips. Place a pot on the heat, mix sugar with water, add the zest, bring to a boil, and cook for 5 minutes.
- Lemon: 6 pieces
- Sugar: 400 g
- Water: 250 ml

Remove from heat, let it cool slightly, and add a few mint leaves to the syrup. Once the syrup is completely cool, place it in the refrigerator for 30-40 minutes. Squeeze the juice from 6 lemons and also put it in the refrigerator.
- Mint: 1 bunch
- Lemon: 6 pieces

Take the syrup out of the fridge, strain it (to remove the zest), and mix it with lemon juice. Mix the resulting concentrated drink with sparkling water in a ratio of 1:2.
