Oatmeal and corn tortilla with cheese
2 servings
30 minutes
Oat-corn flatbread with cheese is a cozy blend of two types of flour, creating a rich texture and soft flavor. The recipe recalls traditional European flatbreads but with a modern focus on healthy ingredients. Crunchy oats add a light nutty note, while grated cheese provides a rich taste. Thyme and pumpkin add aromatic depth, making this flatbread perfect for breakfast or a snack. It can be served with honey, butter, or rustic sour cream, creating a harmony of sweetness and saltiness. Inspired by simple rural traditions, this recipe conveys the warmth of home where every detail reflects care and love for good food.

1
Preheat the oven to 180 degrees
2
Mix flour, grated hard cheese, oatmeal, and egg. Add your favorite flavors. In this case, thyme and a bit of grated pumpkin.
- Corn flour: 100 g

- Cheese: 50 g
- Chicken egg: 1 piece
- Chopped fresh thyme: 20 g
3
Shape the flatbreads. Bake for 15-20 minutes.
4
Enjoy while the flatbreads are hot with honey and butter. In my case, it was village sour cream.
