Bakat appetizer is a fragrant and spicy dish of Russian cuisine, known for its rich flavor and pleasant spiciness. The combination of eggplants, peppers, carrots, and tomatoes creates a harmonious texture, while garlic, vinegar, and herbs add zest. This recipe recalls traditional homemade preparations where vegetables were marinated and stewed to enhance their natural taste. The dish is perfect as an independent appetizer or a side dish for meat and fish meals. Its brightness and rich flavor make it especially suitable for festive tables.
