Tartlets with onions and cheese

Onion and cheese tartlets are an amazing combination of tenderness and rich flavor. This recipe, born in modern American cuisine, takes the best traditions of French quiche by combining crispy puff pastry with aromatic caramelized onions and gooey cheddar cheese. The sweetness of the onion, highlighted by butter, harmonizes with the spicy notes of nutmeg and black pepper, while the creamy filling makes the stuffing velvety. These tartlets are perfect for cozy home breakfasts, light lunches, and festive snacks, pairing wonderfully with fresh green salads or wine. They are convenient to serve as individual portions, making them a practical choice for parties and buffets.
