Bean and Tuna Salad

Bean and tuna salad is an elegant dish of French cuisine that combines simplicity and exquisite taste. Its roots trace back to Mediterranean dietary traditions that use fresh and nutritious ingredients. Tender tuna soaked in oil harmonizes with soft, creamy white beans, creating a textural contrast. Red onion adds a spicy note while fresh lemon juice gives the dish a refreshing acidity. Olive oil ties all the components together, adding depth of flavor. This salad can be served as a light dinner, a side dish to main courses, or as an appetizer for aperitifs. It is not only easy to prepare but also rich in proteins and healthy fats, making it an excellent choice for balanced nutrition.

1
Drain all the liquid from the can of beans, rinse the beans thoroughly, and place them in a large bowl.
- Canned white beans: 200 g
2
Remove the tuna from the oil and transfer it to the beans.
- Canned tuna in oil: 100 g
3
Chop the red onion coarsely. Some wash the onion to weaken its specific taste and aroma. But it's better not to add onion at all than to do this. Sprinkle the onion over the tuna beans.

Salt, pepper, squeeze half a lemon, add olive oil and mix.
