This traditional Italian dessert combines the tender texture of pumpkin with a rich bouquet of spices: cinnamon, nutmeg, clove, and allspice. Its origins trace back to rural regions of Italy where pumpkin has long been used in baking for its softness and sweetness. Baked to a golden crust, this bread becomes a true gastronomic delight. Its flavor is deep, rich, slightly sweet, while its aroma is enticing, warming, and spicy. Spiced pumpkin bread is perfect for cozy evenings, tea times or even festive breakfasts.
