The main difference between Japanese pancakes and any other is their airy texture and shape: they are several times higher and softer than their counterparts. In Japan, such pastries are called "dorayaki" and are always served with different fillings, which are placed between two plump pancakes. The classic addition to such pancakes is considered to be anko bean paste, but you can put whatever you want in the center: Nutella, honey, strawberries, condensed milk or vanilla custard. In this recipe, the combination of ingredients is absolutely wonderful, everyone will like it: berries, ice cream and whipped cream are used.
