Poppy Seed Cookies

The simplest recipe, in which poppy seeds noticeably affect both the appearance of the cookies and their taste. Please note: the dough should be in the refrigerator for at least 15 minutes.

First, prepare the dough. For this, mix softened margarine with 0.5 cup of sugar. Add an egg and gradually incorporate flour into the mixture while kneading the dough. The finished dough should not stick to your hands. Place the dough in the refrigerator for 15 minutes.
- Margarine: 300 g
- Sugar: 0.6 glass
- Chicken egg: 1 piece
- Wheat flour: 2.5 glasss

For the filling, mix poppy seeds, 2 tablespoons of sugar, vanilla, and vegetable oil (sunflower oil can be used too).
- Poppy: 50 g
- Sugar: 0.6 glass
- Vanilla: 2 g
- Vegetable oil: 2 teaspoons

Take the dough out of the fridge, divide it into two equal parts and roll each part into a layer 0.5 cm thick. Spread the filling evenly on the layers and distribute it over the surface, roll them up and cut into pieces about 1.5 cm thick. Place the cookies on a greased baking sheet (you can line it with parchment) and bake in the oven at 190 degrees for 15-20 minutes.
