Banana pudding with cookies is a tender and aromatic dessert that combines the airy texture of creamy custard and the softness of ripe bananas. Such puddings are believed to have gained popularity in European cuisine due to their simplicity and refined taste. In this version, the sweet vanilla base gently envelops banana slices and cookie crumbs, creating a harmonious blend. This dessert is perfect for cozy home evenings, festive gatherings, or simply as a delicate treat with a cup of hot tea. It can be topped with whipped cream for an extra touch of elegance. Banana pudding with cookies embodies softness, sweetness, and comfort in every spoonful!

We heat the milk but do not let it boil. We lightly beat the yolks with a whisk and pour about a quarter of the heated milk into them, continuing to stir. We pour the yolk and milk mixture into the previously mixed dry ingredients, whisking, and send it to the pot with the remaining milk.
- Milk: 2 glasss
- Egg yolk: 2 pieces
- Sugar: 70 g
- Wheat flour: 1 tablespoon
- Starch: 2 teaspoons
- Vanillin: pinch

Stirring, we cook over medium heat until thickened. Remove from heat. Let it cool (the pudding will thicken a bit more) under a lid (to avoid forming a skin). Meanwhile, we prepare the molds, where we will layer cookies and sliced bananas. We pour the pudding over.
- Shortbread: 15 pieces
- Bananas: 2 pieces

Add a few more cookies and banana slices, then pour in the remaining pudding. Depending on the mold, you can create several layers alternating cookies, bananas, and pudding. Decorate (whipped cream is often used for this purpose).
