Cinnamon and honey puff pastries are a delightful treat of European cuisine that offers a cozy aroma and delicate flavor. These pastries resemble classic French croissants but have a rich honey-cinnamon hue. Historically, honey and cinnamon were used as symbols of prosperity and warmth, and their flavor combination in baking became popular in various culinary traditions. The pastries are crispy on the outside yet soft and fragrant on the inside. They can be served with morning coffee or evening tea, while the light caramelization of sugar adds a special texture. Due to their simplicity in preparation, they are perfect for family breakfasts and cozy evenings. This dessert will bring you warmth and sweet enjoyment with every bite.

1
Place a sheet of thawed puff pastry on a cutting board and roll it out a bit to form a rectangle.
- Puff pastry: 500 g
2
Carefully spread honey over the dough surface in a thin layer, then sprinkle with ground cinnamon and sugar.
- Honey: 5 tablespoon
- Ground cinnamon: 2 tablespoons
- Sugar: 2 teaspoons
3
We carefully roll the dough into a log. We cut the log into equal parts.
4
Slightly pinch the ends of the small buns so that the hot honey doesn't leak out. Place the buns vertically on the baking tray (first, put parchment paper on the tray).
5
Bake at 200 degrees for about 20 minutes.
6
You can sprinkle sugar on top to further caramelize the buns.
- Sugar: 2 teaspoons
