Quick chicken pie is a simple and hearty option for homemade baking, originating from Russian cuisine. Its roots lie in traditional filled pies known for their ease of preparation and tender texture. Here, the dough made with sour cream and mayonnaise is airy, while the filling of juicy chicken is nutritious. The pie has a soft, slightly creamy taste complemented by a light crispness of the crust. It can be served as a standalone dish or as an appetizer with broths and salads. Ideal for a quick dinner or unexpected guests.
