Beat the butter with sugar, salt, and vanilla.
- Butter: 375 g
- Brown sugar: 0.5 glass
- Salt: 0.5 teaspoon
- Vanillin: 1 teaspoon

Mix with flour and chocolate (previously melted in a water bath), add rum, and knead a sticky thick dough.

- Dark chocolate: 170 g
- Dark rum: 6 tablespoons

Mix until you get a homogeneous mass. Roll small balls. Coat the balls in sugar sand. Keep for a couple of days in a closed plastic container to let them soak up the rum and become aromatic.
