Banana tart with coffee cream is an exquisite dessert with Italian motifs, where the velvety taste of bananas combines with rich coffee notes. The base made of delicate shortcrust pastry with butter creates a perfect texture that contrasts with the creamy mascarpone and whipped cream. Condensed milk adds caramel sweetness, while ground coffee gives an aromatic touch that completes the flavor palette. This tart is ideal for morning enjoyment with a cup of espresso or evening treats at a friendly table. After a night in the fridge, it reveals its full potential, becoming even more harmonious and rich. The subtle balance of sweetness, creamy softness, and coffee bitterness makes it a delightful choice for true gourmets.

1
For the test, cut the butter into small pieces and place it in a blender bowl, add flour, and grind until it becomes fine crumbs.
- Butter: 50 g
- Wheat flour: 100 g
2
Add sugar.
- Sugar: 2 teaspoons
3
Place the obtained crumb in a bowl, add an egg, and gather the dough into a ball. Do not knead for too long and thoroughly, otherwise the dough will turn out tough when baked.
- Egg yolk: 1 g
4
Wrap the dough in plastic wrap and place it in the refrigerator for 1 hour.
5
Preheat the oven to 170–180 degrees.
6
Roll out the dough on a floured surface according to the size of your mold. Wrap the dough around a rolling pin and place it in the mold. Bake for 15 minutes. Baking time can be adjusted depending on your oven.
7
Let the tart base cool.
8
Peel the bananas and slice them into rounds about 0.5–0.7 cm thick.
- Bananas: 2 pieces
9
Spread a layer of boiled condensed milk on the prepared base, smooth it out, and beautifully arrange pieces of bananas slightly overlapping each other on top.
- Boiled condensed milk: 200 g
10
For the cream, separately whip the cream, mascarpone, powdered sugar, and instant coffee into a fluffy mass, gently, without overmixing!
- Cream 25%: 200 ml
- Mascarpone cheese: 150 g
- Powdered sugar: 1 tablespoon
- Instant coffee: 1 teaspoon
11
Spread the cream over the bananas, smooth it out, and sprinkle with ground coffee (alternatively, you can use cocoa, cinnamon, or not use anything at all).
- Ground coffee: 1 g
12
Put the tart in the fridge overnight. After sitting in the fridge overnight, the tart becomes much tastier as all the ingredients exchange flavors and achieve the final consistency and taste.
