Donuts (Dunkin Donuts) are an iconic dessert of American cuisine that has captured the hearts of sweet lovers worldwide. These airy, delicate donuts with a light vanilla aroma and crispy glaze have become a symbol of morning coffee and pleasant moments. The origins of donuts trace back to the 19th century when immigrants brought their fried donut recipes to America. Later, their baked version emerged—lower in calories but equally delicious. Donuts pair perfectly with hot coffee or milk and can be decorated with colorful sprinkles, chocolate glaze, or fruit syrup. Their soft, slightly chewy texture inside and thin sweet crust outside create a unique flavor that makes them a favorite treat for both children and adults.

1
In a bowl, whisk together powdered sugar, vanilla extract, melted butter, and egg until creamy.
- Powdered sugar: 0.5 glass
- Vanillin: 2 teaspoons
- Butter: 50 g
- Chicken egg: 1 piece
2
Add milk and stir.
- Milk: 0.5 glass
3
Then we add the baking powder.
- Baking powder: 2 teaspoons
4
We start adding flour (sifting it directly into the bowl) in 2-3 stages. Do not add all the flour at once. The dough should be thick and sticky enough (about like for éclairs).
- Wheat flour: 2 glasss
5
Cover the bowl with dough with plastic wrap and place it in the fridge for 30 minutes.
6
Take the dough and place it on a floured surface. Knead until the dough is smooth and elastic, adding more flour if necessary.
- Wheat flour: 2 glasss
7
Roll out the dough to a thickness of 1 cm, shape the donuts, and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
8
Send to the oven preheated to 200 degrees for 15-20 minutes. The donuts should brown and increase in volume by about 2-2.5 times.
9
Pour the glaze into a wide dish (a classic soup plate works well). Let the donuts cool. Turn each donut 'face down' in your hands and dip it in the glaze. Remove it, flip it over, and sprinkle with confetti.
