Apple muffins with walnuts and cinnamon are a delicate treat with a warm spice aroma and a light crunchy texture from the nuts. This recipe is inspired by Turkish culinary traditions, where cinnamon is often used to give baked goods an exquisite flavor. The sweetness of the apples pairs wonderfully with the nutty depth of flavor, while the softness of buttermilk batter makes each bite airy and moist. These muffins are perfect for a cozy tea time, especially on cool autumn evenings. They can be served as a standalone dessert or complemented with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. The aroma of fresh baking fills the home with warmth and comfort, creating an atmosphere of joy and coziness.
