A pie with three types of berries and vanilla ice cream is an exquisite combination of traditional Russian flavor and summer abundance. The recipe is based on puff pastry, which acquires a crispy golden crust after baking, revealing juicy berries inside—blackberries, blueberries, and raspberries. The history of this pie roots back to village cuisine where fresh berries were used to create aromatic pastries that adorned family gatherings. The sweet-and-sour taste of the berries harmoniously complements the sweetness of the vanilla ice cream, creating a perfect balance. This pie can be served at festive dinners or in a cozy home setting.
