Cherry muffins are a delicate pastry with a rich flavor of cherries and nuts. Their base consists of rye and flax flour, enriched with natural topinambur syrup and honey. The history of muffins traces back to European cuisine, where they served as a light breakfast or refined dessert. These muffins are characterized by a rich nutty aroma and a pleasant tartness of cherries that harmoniously complements the sweetness of honey. Thanks to the use of rye flour, they have a dense yet soft structure. They can be served as an independent treat with tea or coffee or decorated with berries and nuts for special occasions. This dessert is not only delicious but also healthy, as it contains no refined sugar and combines natural ingredients making it an excellent choice for healthy eating.
