Banana bread is a cozy classic of European cuisine that has become popular worldwide due to its softness, aromatic flavor, and simplicity of preparation. The origins of this recipe date back to the early 20th century when housewives began looking for ways to use overripe bananas. Sweet, rich fruity notes pair perfectly with the tender texture of the bread, while vanilla sugar adds a subtle, pleasant sweetness. This bread can be served warm to enjoy its lightness or cooled for a denser structure. It is great for breakfasts, light snacks or tea time, especially with a dab of butter or honey. Topped with baked banana, it is not only delicious but also visually appealing. Simple yet elegant, this recipe remains a favorite among many generations.
