A classic honey pie with spices, with the aroma of ginger, cinnamon and other sweet spices. For this reason, it is popular on the Jewish New Year Rosh Hashanah - after all, according to the Israelis, in order for the coming year to be abundant and kind, sweet and hearty dishes should be served at the holiday table.

Preheat the oven to 180 degrees. Grease a rectangular pan and line it with paper. In a large bowl, mix flour, sugar, ginger, cinnamon, spices, and baking soda.
- Wheat flour: 175 g
- Sugar: 75 g
- Grated ginger: 1 teaspoon
- Cinnamon: 1 teaspoon
- Soda: 1 teaspoon
- Spices: to taste

Make a well in the flour mixture, pour in honey, oil, add zest, and pour in eggs. Mix everything with a wooden spoon (or electric mixer), then add orange juice and chopped ginger.
- Honey: 225 g
- Vegetable oil: 4 tablespoons
- Orange zest: 2 teaspoons
- Chicken egg: 2 pieces
- Orange juice: 5 tablespoon
- Ginger root: 2 teaspoons

Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for 50 minutes until the pie is firm and springy.

Let the pie cool in the mold, then turn it over and wrap it in foil. Store at room temperature for 2-3 days before serving.
