Raisin muffins made with kefir are delicate pastries with a subtle vanilla aroma and sweet notes of raisins. Their roots trace back to Russian cuisine, where baked goods with fermented dairy products are traditionally valued for their softness and lightness. Kefir gives the dough a lightness, while butter adds a rich flavor. The combination of sweetness and a hint of tartness makes these muffins perfect for morning tea or a cozy family dinner. They are great for a snack on the go or alongside a cup of freshly brewed coffee. Serving them lightly dusted with powdered sugar adds a touch of elegance, and their aroma wafting from the oven creates an atmosphere of homey comfort. Easy to prepare, this recipe will become your favorite for warm and heartfelt gatherings.
