Thoroughly wash the horseradish, clean it, grate it on a fine grater, place it in an enamel pot or bowl, pour boiling water over it, and cover the dish with a lid.
- Horseradish: 300 g
- Water: 450 ml

When the horseradish cools down (after 0.5-1 hour), add vinegar, salt, sugar, and mix.

Withered horseradish should be soaked in cold water for 10-12 hours before cleaning, changing the water 2-3 times.
