Waldorf Salad
4 servings
10 minutes
The second most recognizable salad on the world menu after Caesar. Invented at the Waldorf-Astoria Hotel in New York in 1896. The original calls for pecans, not walnuts. But the difference is small. Pecans are a little more noble, but this nobility is still not visible behind sour cream and mayonnaise.
