Pepperoni pizza is one of the most recognizable symbols of Italian cuisine, gaining worldwide popularity. Its history traces back to America, where Italian immigrants adapted traditional recipes by adding spicy pepperoni sausage. This pizza impresses with its rich flavor — the tender dough serves as a base for the spicy sausage aroma, complemented by salty notes of pickles and mushrooms. Melted cheese gives a soft and enveloping texture, while tomato sauce adds juiciness and balances the flavors. Pepperoni pizza is perfect for fun evenings with friends or cozy home gatherings, accompanied by a glass of refreshing drink. Its combination of easy preparation and amazing taste makes it a favorite among classic pizza lovers.

Take the dough out of the package and let it thaw on the table. Meanwhile, slice the sausage; I use pepperoni salami, but any kind works. Cut the sausage as you like - into cubes or circles. Slice the gherkins - if they're not large, I usually cut them into circles. Grate the cheese on a coarse grater. Open the can of mushrooms and let all the liquid drain, you can squeeze it slightly by hand. Grease the baking tray with vegetable oil.
- Pepperoni: 1 piece
- Pickled mushrooms: 1 jar
- Gherkins: 1 jar
- Cheese: 200 g
- Vegetable oil: 1 teaspoon

After the dough has thawed, we roll it out and place it on a baking sheet, or we can knead it by hand — this will make the dough a bit more airy and taller.
- Yeast dough: 500 g

We spread the dough with ketchup or tomato sauce to taste — I usually take tomato sauce with olives. On top, we add sausage, then cucumbers, mushrooms, and cheese.
- Tomato sauce: 2 tablespoons
- Pepperoni: 1 piece
- Gherkins: 1 jar
- Pickled mushrooms: 1 jar
- Cheese: 200 g

We place it in a preheated oven. I set mine to convection level at 180 degrees on the lowest rack, and it takes about 20-30 minutes.
