Whole grain dumplings with cottage cheese and herbs are a classic Russian dish reimagined for healthy eating. The history of dumplings dates back to ancient Slavic traditions, and whole grain flour gives them a rich nutty flavor. The filling of cottage cheese with fragrant dill and sautéed onions makes them tender with a slight spiciness. These dumplings are perfect for balanced nutrition as whole grain flour is high in fiber and cottage cheese is rich in protein. They pair well with sour cream or natural yogurt, and when baked in the oven, they develop a light crispy crust. These dumplings not only bring comfort and the taste of childhood but also serve as a great example of how to harmoniously combine traditions with health care.
