Chickpea puree with onions, cheese, cream, and spices is a refined dish of Eastern Indian cuisine that combines a delicate creamy texture with deep spice aromas. The recipe's origins trace back to ancient Indian gastronomic traditions where chickpeas are the foundation of many dishes due to their nutrition and rich flavor. Fried onions and garlic add zest to the dish while cream makes it velvety and rich. A blend of basil, thyme, mint, coriander, and smoked paprika adds complexity to the flavor filled with the warmth of Eastern spices.
