Wild Boar Cutlets

Wild boar cutlets are a true find for fans of Hungarian cuisine. This dish embodies the spirit of hunting traditions, where wild boar meat is valued for its rich, slightly sweet flavor and dense texture. The minced meat prepared with shallots, dill, and soaked bread gains extraordinary tenderness, while baking in the oven makes the cutlets juicy and aromatic. They can be served with thick sauces, mashed potatoes or stewed vegetables to highlight the rich taste of the meat. Hungarian cuisine is renowned for its richness of flavors, and this dish is an example of its refined simplicity where the natural aromas of fresh ingredients are fully revealed. Historically, boar cutlets were considered a delicacy for hunters but today they find a place at family dinners and festive tables.

3
Soak a piece of bread in milk.
- White bread: 1 piece
- Milk: 100 ml

5
Add an egg and a little meat broth (if not available, use water) to the obtained mass.

Before frying the cutlets, the minced meat must be beaten (I baked them in the oven, and it turned out just as good but healthier).
