Soak the pearl barley overnight. Sauté the mushrooms beforehand.
- Pearl barley: 300 g
- Mushrooms: 400 g

Dice the onion and finely chop the garlic. Sauté the onion with garlic in vegetable and butter until golden.

- Garlic: 2 cloves
- Vegetable oil: 2 tablespoons
- Butter: 50 g

Add pearl barley and simmer for 5-7 minutes, adding broth in small portions.

Add the pre-chopped pumpkin to the pan and sauté for another 5 minutes.

Then add the fried mushrooms and mix. Add the grated cheese and mix again.
