Squid in batter

30 minutes
Battered squid is a tender and crispy dish from Japanese cuisine, where simplicity and exquisite seafood flavors are valued. In Japan, squid is often served in tempura, but this battered version offers a richer texture. Tender squid rings are first boiled to retain softness and then fried in a light batter made with milk, egg, and spices. The crispy coating pairs perfectly with the juicy filling. This dish can be served with rice or rice noodles, and for an extra flavor boost, dip it in Thousand Island dressing. A great choice for seafood lovers that delights with its tenderness and harmonious taste!
