It has been scientifically proven that durum wheat pasta does not cause any harm to our figure. Unless, of course, you pour a bunch of ketchup mixed with mayonnaise and other spices over it. It is especially interesting and contrary to the generally accepted opinion that pasta contains the required amount of proteins - 13 g per 100 g of product, which promotes weight loss, since when you eat it, fat "melts", not muscle tissue. Pasta also contains so-called slow sugars, which burn almost completely, but gradually. Experts note that these sugars are the best "fuel" for athletes: they replenish glycogen reserves in the muscles. In addition, pasta is rich in vitamin B1, which reduces fatigue. Many people think that cooked pasta should be rinsed with fresh water. This should never be done case is impossible! Washing reduces the vitamin content in pasta and drastically breaks their temperature regime. Interestingly, the name "pasta" goes back to the Greek "makaria" - "grace", "happiness.
