Roast pork with potatoes
6 servings
80 minutes
Pork stew with potatoes is a hearty and comforting dish of Russian cuisine that has long been prepared in village homes, especially in cold weather. Tender pieces of pork are fried until golden brown and then simmered with potatoes and vegetables, absorbing the aromas of paprika, pepper mix, and garlic. The potatoes soak up the meat juices, becoming surprisingly soft and flavorful. At the end of cooking, butter is added for a special tenderness. The stew is served topped with fresh parsley for added freshness and a hint of spice. It's the perfect treat for a cozy family dinner or gathering when you want to warm up and enjoy the taste of simple yet tradition-rich food.
