45 minutes
Oven-baked sea bass with cauliflower is a magnificent dish of Mediterranean cuisine, combining the tenderness of fish, the freshness of lemon, and the aroma of fragrant herbs. Mediterranean peoples appreciate baking fish for its simplicity and preservation of all the beneficial qualities of the product. Sea bass, known for its soft texture and delicate flavor, pairs perfectly with cauliflower, which becomes sweet and slightly crispy when baked. Lemon and Italian spices add expressiveness to the dish, while dill brings freshness. It’s an ideal option for a light dinner or festive table.

1
Clean the fish, wash the dill, and stuff the fish with it. Place in a baking dish; for cleanliness and to prevent the fish from sticking to the dish, you can add parchment paper between the fish and the dish.
- Sea bass: 1 piece
- Dill: 20 g

2
Cut several lemon slices and place them in the gills and belly. Use lemon to taste, one or two slices are enough. Rub the fish with Italian seasoning mix. You can use any available, like French or fish seasoning, or simply rub with salt and pepper.
- Lemon: 1 piece
- Italian seasoning: 10 g

3
Wash and cut the cauliflower into florets, arrange it around the fish, and place the dish in an oven preheated to 180 degrees for 25 minutes.
- Cauliflower: 300 g

4
After 25 minutes, take it out of the oven and check the fish and cabbage - if the oven is good, everything should be ready and can be served. If in doubt, leave it for another 5 minutes, just make sure the fish doesn't dry out.
