Chicken with mushrooms in the oven

A beautiful, almost festive dish, and it doesn't matter that it's a calorie bomb and a protein punch. Chicken breast undergoes a fire test, and then falls into the arms of a thick mixture of champignons, chicken broth and mozzarella.

Rub the fillet with salt, pepper, and herbs.
- Salt: to taste
- Ground black pepper: to taste
- Italian Herb Blend: to taste

Heat vegetable oil in a pan and fry the meat until golden brown on both sides.
- Vegetable oil: 60 ml
- Chicken fillet: 4 pieces

Transfer the meat to the baking tray.

Slice the mushrooms thinly.
- Champignons: 250 g

In the same pan, fry the mushrooms until soft - about 5-7 minutes.

Add mushrooms to the chicken, pour in hot broth, and send the baking tray to an oven preheated to 190 degrees for 15 minutes.

Grate the cheese on a coarse grater.
- Mozzarella cheese: 200 g

Sprinkle cheese on the chicken with mushrooms and return to the oven for another 5 minutes.

Chop the parsley.

Garnish the finished dish with parsley. Serve with rice or mashed potatoes.
