An African version of the meat stew, maafe. It contains sweet potato, carrot, tomato, passata and peanut butter, making it extremely rich. This sweetish stew is usually served with white rice, like curry.

Prepare the necessary ingredients.

Cut the meat into large pieces.

Chop the onion.

In a thick-walled pot, fry the meat cut into large pieces until browned.

Add onion. Reduce heat and simmer for a few minutes.

Add coarsely chopped carrots and sweet potatoes.
