One of the most interesting representatives of the fixe family, that is, cocktails with strong alcohol, syrup and lemon juice. The recipe first appeared in the book by bartender Albert Barnes "The Complete Bartender", published in 1884.

Pour rum, pineapple syrup, and sugar syrup into a shaker with ice and squeeze lemon juice. Shake.
- Dark rum: 60 ml
- Pineapple syrup: 15 ml
- Lemon juice: 15 ml
- Sugar syrup: 15 ml

Strain into a chilled glass. Garnish with mint and pineapple (which should be peeled). Add a dash of bitters.
