
Ground flaxseed is freshly milled flax seeds of light or dark brown colour with a nutty taste, rich in fibre, omega-3 and lignans; ground, they are absorbed better than whole. They are added to porridges, smoothies, yoghurt, bread and fritter dough, patties, and used as a binder and a flax egg with water.
