Millet Porridge

Properly cooked millet porridge is a great pleasure and a rare success. Unlike oatmeal, which boils up instantly, millet needs time to cook thoroughly and absorb all the moisture, so start cooking an hour before breakfast. Our recipe will help you understand how to cook millet so that it turns out soft and creamy.

Prepare all the ingredients.

Bring the water to a boil.
- Water: 500 ml

Rinse millet with water to remove excess gluten. Add to boiling water.
- Millet: 200 g

Add salt and sugar.
- Sugar: to taste
- Salt: 0.3 teaspoon

Cover with a lid and simmer on low heat for about 20 minutes.

When the cereal absorbs all the water, pour in the milk.
- Milk: 300 ml
