Dietary Lavash Chips

20 minutes
Dietary chips made from lavash are an elegant combination of simplicity and flavor. This recipe emerged in American cuisine as a response to the desire for a crispy, healthy alternative to traditional potato chips. Cut into squares, Armenian lavash is coated with olive oil and spices, creating a fragrant crunchy snack. Baked in the oven, the chips develop a golden crust and rich flavor. Perfect for a light snack, they can be served with dips, used as an addition to salads, or simply enjoyed for their crunchy texture. Bon appétit!

1
Cut the lavash into small (about 3x3 cm) equal squares and place them in a deep bowl.
- Armenian lavash: 1 piece
2
Pour olive oil over them and mix thoroughly with a silicone brush until each square is coated with oil.
- Olive oil: 1.5 tablespoon
3
Then add any spices to taste (such as salt, paprika, hot red pepper, dried garlic, turmeric, and dried dill) and mix thoroughly again to evenly distribute the spices across all squares.
- Salt: to taste
- Spices: to taste
4
Spread the future chips in a thin layer on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper (it will absorb excess oil) and bake in a preheated oven at 180 degrees for about ten minutes, stirring occasionally to dry them evenly until ready - the chips will become golden and crispy, breaking easily.
