Fried Fennel with Bacon

18 minutes
Fried fennel with bacon is an unusual combination of the sweet, slightly anise-flavored fennel and the crispy salty texture of bacon. This recipe was born from the search for new gastronomic solutions, where the harmony between the freshness of vegetables and the rich flavor of meat plays a key role. The oily garlic aroma adds warmth to the dish, while chili pepper adds a slight spiciness. This option is perfect as a side dish for meat dishes or as a standalone appetizer that surprises with its simplicity and richness of flavor. It pairs perfectly with a glass of dry white wine, highlighting its herbal and smoky notes.
