Indian Cheese with Spinach Palak Paneer

Palak paneer is a traditional Indian snack made from spinach and cheese. It is usually served with rice or hot flatbreads, but can also be used as a side dish for chicken, for example.

Cut the paneer into squares measuring 5x5 cm and about 2.5 cm thick.
- Paneer cheese: 100 g

Remove the seeds from the pepper and chop it, also chop the spinach, ginger, onion, and garlic.
- Green chili pepper: 2 pieces
- Spinach: 250 g
- Ginger: 10 g
- Onion: 1 head
- Garlic: 1 clove

Pour 50 ml of water into a saucepan, add chili, spinach, and ginger, and simmer on medium-high heat for 3-4 minutes. Strain to remove excess moisture, then transfer the vegetables to a blender and puree them.
- Green chili pepper: 2 pieces
- Spinach: 250 g
- Ginger: 10 g

Heat oil in a pan, fry fenugreek for 30 seconds, add onion and fry for about 5 minutes until golden. Add cumin and garlic, fry for another 30 seconds, add tomato puree, cook for 5 minutes. Salt to taste.
- Vegetable oil: 30 ml
- Fenugreek: pinch
- Onion: 1 head
- Cumin (zira): 0.3 teaspoon
- Garlic: 1 clove
- Tomato puree: 250 ml

Add paneer, mix gently, add spinach puree and cook for another 2 minutes. Then serve.
