Prepare the berries (wash and dry them).
- Barberry: 500 g

Put sugar in a pot and melt it on low heat.
- Sugar: 150 g

Pour the barberry berries into sugar and stir with a wooden spoon.

Add another 20 grams (1 tablespoon) of sugar on top of the berries and add clean water, stirring constantly.

- Water: 300 ml

Bring to a boil, add agar-agar and cook for 5–7 minutes.

Remove from heat, prepare glass baking dish.

Pour the barberry juice through a strainer into a container and let it cool. Then place it in the refrigerator until fully chilled.
