Oatmeal donuts with apple and cinnamon are a cozy treat that embodies the warmth of homemade baking. The combination of tender dough made from whole grain and oatmeal flour with the aroma of cinnamon and sweetness of apples makes them especially enjoyable on cold days. The origins of this recipe can be traced back to traditional apple pies, but here it takes a lighter form as airy donuts, perfect for morning coffee or evening tea. Their softness, slightly crispy crust, and subtle spicy scent create a true celebration of flavor. These donuts are an excellent solution for those seeking a balance between health and pleasure, as they are made with minimal sugar and oil while retaining rich taste. Serve them warm, dusted with powdered sugar, and enjoy their cozy sweetness.

1
Preheat the oven (180°, convection mode).
2
Peel the apples, remove the core, and grate them on a fine grater.
- Apple: 2 pieces
3
In a deep container, mix the dry ingredients: sifted flour, baking powder, salt, cinnamon.
- Whole grain flour: 110 g
- Oat flour: 40 g
- Baking powder: 3 g
- Ground cinnamon: to taste
- Salt: pinch
4
Whisk the egg separately with sugar, then add the previously melted butter.
- Chicken egg: 1 piece
- Brown sugar: 50 g
- Butter: 60 g
5
Add the liquid mixture to the dry ingredients, add apple puree, and knead the dough to a custard-like consistency.
- Apple: 2 pieces
6
Cover the baking tray with parchment paper (or grease it with oil). Fill a piping bag with the dough and pipe it into rings (donuts), leaving a couple of cm space between them.
