Apple Rose Puff Pastry

A miracle of home food design, for which you only need firm red apples and a layer of ready-made puff pastry. Rolling them is not as difficult as it seems, you should understand the assembly technology. But if suddenly the first time the rose buns fall apart, calmly fasten the structure with a toothpick, and before serving, take it out, and no one will notice anything. These buns do not taste like dough, but baked apples, and they are not sweet at all. But if you want something sweet, then sprinkle them with powdered sugar . You will get another invention of culinary folklore - not just roses, but roses in the snow.

Cut the apples into quarters, removing the inedible part. Slice into thin pieces 2 mm thick.
- Red apples: 2 pieces

Pour 200 ml of water into a pot and bring to a boil. Add sugar.
- Sugar: 3 tablespoons

Put apple slices in boiling water. Boil for no more than 2-3 minutes, then drain the water (the apples should become flexible).

Roll out the thawed dough thinly (1–2 mm thick). Cut into strips 3 cm wide and 25–30 cm long.
- Yeast-free puff pastry: 250 g

Place 5 apple slices on the strip of dough, slightly overlapping. The slices should extend one third over the top edge of the dough. Carefully roll the strip into a tube.
- Red apples: 2 pieces

Fold the lower edges of the dough inward.

Place the prepared roses on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Put in a preheated oven at 200 degrees. Bake for about 30 minutes.

Cool the ready pastries completely and sprinkle with powdered sugar and cinnamon.
