Banana Walnut Cake

Banana cake with walnuts is a delicate, aromatic treat with a rich flavor of ripe bananas and a nutty crunch. Originating from American cuisine, this cake has become a favorite for many due to its softness and moist texture. Bananas provide natural sweetness and lightness to the bake, while walnuts add richness and a slight bitterness. It can be served with morning coffee or at cozy family gatherings, and can also be complemented with creams or glazes for a more festive appearance. This dessert is perfect for those who appreciate a balance of flavors and simplicity in preparation.

1
Mix slightly softened butter with a cup of sugar, add vanilla sugar.
- Butter: 100 g
- Cane sugar: 1 glass
- Vanilla sugar: 1 tablespoon
2
Add 2 eggs and whisk everything together (not too vigorously, just to mix and achieve a light uniform consistency).
- Chicken egg: 2 pieces
3
Add baking powder. Slice the bananas directly into the batter and mix everything together again lightly.
- Baking powder: 2 teaspoons
- Bananas: 2 pieces
4
Add flour. The consistency of the dough should be like thick liquid honey. So watch carefully, gradually adding flour and mixing it into the dough. That is, the dough should not be liquid but also not too stiff.
- Wheat flour: 1.5 glass
5
Chop the nuts into medium-sized pieces. Add the nuts and mix everything with a spoon.
- Walnuts: 130 g

Preheat the oven to 180 degrees. Place it for 40 minutes. My oven is very strong, so I set it for 50 minutes at 160 degrees. Watch the crust; the cake will rise and brown. At the end, you can check with a match (or even just a fork). Poke inside; it shouldn't stick. Keep in mind that due to the bananas, the cake will be a bit 'moist' inside, and that's how it should be. Once done, let it sit in the oven for about 10 minutes and cool slightly to avoid sinking.
